Policies
Category exclusivity, explained.
One business per category
Only one advertiser from each business category may appear on a particular community card, regardless of tier.
Exclusivity is per community
Category exclusivity applies to each community separately. Holding a category in Mustang does not reserve it in Yukon.
Renewal priority
Existing advertisers receive priority to renew their category for future mailings — even if they change tiers, subject to availability.
15-day renewal opportunity
If a competing business applies for an occupied category during an eligible renewal period, the current advertiser receives 15 calendar days to renew. Renew and pay within the deadline and the category stays protected; otherwise it may become available to an approved applicant.
Upgrades & downgrades
Existing advertisers may request a tier change, subject to available positions.
Approval, then full payment
All applications are reviewed and approved before any payment is requested. After approval, 100% of the advertising price is due upfront. Your position is secured only once full payment is received.
Launch schedule
Mustang launches first, with Yukon following shortly after. You may apply for both now. Each community has its own mailing and printing schedule; no mailing date is guaranteed yet. Payment reserves a position in that community’s upcoming mailing, not a specific date.

Each card has exactly 16 positions: 2 Featured, 6 Premium and 8 Standard.
Cancellation & refunds
Advertisers may cancel their advertising placement and receive a full refund of the amount paid, provided the cancellation request is received at least five (5) calendar days before the scheduled printing date of the applicable community postcard. If no printing date has been set, you may cancel for a full refund. Requests received fewer than five days before printing are not eligible for a refund under this policy. If 2416Media cancels a community mailing, affected advertisers receive a full refund. Refunds are reviewed and processed by 2416Media.
Exclusive advertising categories
16 positions. One business per category.
Each community postcard has only 16 advertising positions, and only one business per category is permitted on each community card.
Exclusivity applies across all tiers — Featured, Premium and Standard.
Example: a roofing company
- A roofing company purchases a Featured position on the Mustang card.
- ✕No competing roofing company can purchase a Premium position on that card.
- ✕No competing roofing company can purchase a Standard position on that card.

Renewals
Your Category. Your Priority.
Advertisers who renew keep first claim on their category. Priority applies only when you renew — categories are not held indefinitely without renewal.

Change tiers freely
Request to move between Featured, Premium and Standard, subject to availability, without losing category exclusivity when you renew.
15-day renewal window
If a qualifying competing application arrives during an eligible renewal period, you get 15 calendar days to renew and complete payment.
If the advertiser does not renew and pay within the 15 days, the category may become available to an approved applicant.
